Every love story has its unique beginning, and for Matt and Kristen, it all started at a midnight showing of “Twilight Eclipse” in June 2010. Introduced by mutual friends, the setting was unconventional yet perfect. After all, any guy willing to sit through the third installment of a movie series for a girl he’s never met is bound to be a keeper. This chance meeting marked the beginning of a beautiful journey, one filled with unexpected adventures and shared moments.

Their first date was nothing short of serendipitous. What was supposed to be a simple evening turned into a delightful 15-hour escapade. They got lost, which led them to an unplanned dinner, followed by an impromptu mini golf session. Their evening continued with ice cream and a leisurely walk around a charming town, where they talked endlessly, discovering a mutual connection. The night didn’t end there; Kristen invited Matt back to her apartment. They watched several romantic comedies, platonically fell asleep, and shared a sweet moment the next morning making pancakes together. It was on the porch of Kristen’s college apartment where they shared their first kiss, a moment that solidified their budding romance.

Fast forward to February 2, 2022, Matt proposed at the very movie theater where they first met, this time after watching “West Side Story.” The theater, filled with memories, was the perfect backdrop for this significant milestone in their relationship.

For their Logan Pass elopement, Matt and Kristen were filled with excitement and anticipation. They loved spending their special day fully present with each other, celebrating their love and commitment. The couple is eager to embark on their next adventure together as husband and wife, which started with a magical trip to Glacier National Park.
